The City of Campbell River is teaming up with BC Green Business for an online info session later this week for local businesses.

B C Green Business is a non-profit certification program that works with businesses to identify cost-effective ways to reduce their environmental impact.

Joining BC Green Business includes a site visit from a BC Green Business Verifier, a suggested actions report, resources & funding opportunities when applicable, certification, and marketing/networking opportunities.

Certification is open for office-based businesses, retail locations, food and beverage processors, restaurants, grocery stores, spas & salons, and fleet-based businesses.

The webinar will cover the certification process and how it works, and offer up the benefits of integrating sustainability into business operations.

You have to register ahead of time for the session, which goes Wednesday at 11am.
